The Importance of Being Earnest

Play        Adaptation

A classic farce by Oscar Wilde which exposes our inner hedonistic tendencies. Jack Worthing, or Ernest in town, navigates his love for London socialite, Gwendolen. But the path of true love never did run smooth. In his way stands Gwendolen’s tyrannous mother, Lady Bracknell, and the mischievous machinations of his friend, Algernon. With a country life back home, Jack must find a way to maintain his town persona and win Gwendolen’s hand.
